Christopher Penczak lays the groundwork that you can build on to understand the concepts of all of the genres I listed. It is easy to read and understand, full of valuable information, great exercises, and lists (angels, fetish animals etc). It is a book that you will refer back to, and probably even read twice, as there is so much information in it. This is a great basic book to read to get a well informed overview of all things "Spiritual". For those who have been around the esoterical block a few times, read it! There is so much information in it that you may still learn something new! This is a MUST READ!

Christopher Penczak, is fastly becoming recognized for his ability to take very complex topics and make them understandable, and useful in the everyday world. If you wish to journey to the other side, access, and use your spirit allies, this book will enable you to do so. I highly recommend the Inner Temple, The Outer Temple, and The Witche's Shield, as well. The Inner Temple and companion cd's have changed my life.Christopher is not only an author, he is a very well known witch, he teaches, and guides others to do what is in the highest good of all, harming none. This author is going to bust through the charts..just keep reading and buying, you'll see.

This is an excellent book that presents many different approaches to spituality and practices without obvious bias and does so in an easily understandable and non-threatening way. I totally disagree with the other reviewer who thinks that some of the exercises are dangerous. As is said in the book - "...if you do not feel comfortable [with any certain aspect(s)] do not attempt it..." Energy follows intent. It is not only within ourselves, but our responsibility to gain spiritual understanding of ourselves, our place in the universe. This book offers tools that all of us can use to get started on our own journeys, or help us along ones we are already travelling.Incredible job and very inspiring. If I could have written a book like this I hope that I would have done as well. Bravo!
