Spinning in Circles and Learning from Myself: A Collection of Stories that Slowly Grow Up

Well, I wrote the book so I might be an itty bitty bit biased. BUT, it's true! The stories are about growing up - specifically about me growing up - immersed in a unique and fabulous family. Autism is a big theme. And although a fabulous family is an enormous gift, there are still challenging challenges. Poverty, abuse, prejudice - these are a few of the issues my unique and fabulous family helped me to learn from rather than allow, accept, or fear. Now, though the stories do star my unique and fabulous family they are written from a place that is deeply me. Reviewers have said it was more like "journaling" and that I am brave. Admittedly, I had no idea that sharing my stories might be brave, which makes me a little bit scared. tee hee! The stories offer readers an opportunity to learn a few things from my unique and fabulous family along with me. And because I have a stubborn habit of loving life and it's never ending opportunities for surprising revelations, readers are left with a feeling of hope and happiness. At least, that's what the customer reviews tell me. I highly recommend a unique and fabulous family! Oh, and this book!
