Spectrum Math Workbook, Grade 4: Volume 5

The book is missing pgs. 49-58. This isn't entirely surprising given that many of the pages are falling out of the book.

I ordered two of these, the materials in the book covers a lot. Spectrum books progress from one grade to the next, continuing on previously learned concepts with a introduction to new ones. My real issue with the book was one of them had several missing pages (over 15 pages). I wish I was made aware of this before purchasing. sellers need to make customers aware of any issues with the items we purchased.

I have taught in a classroom for years and now homeschool. After using many math programs that were more expensive than this, I have finally found one I like. This program is a no nonsense, grade appropriate program that teaches the basics without stress. It is a strong drill and practice approach that left me confident my kids were learning the skills that meet state standards. There is enough practice for mastery, with good examples on each page. There is an answer key in the back. If they reduced the problems on a page to 20 and allowed more space between problems it would be perfect for my struggling learner. I compensate for this by having him do every other row. It is still a superior and more complete program than the 4 other major homeschool math series I've tried.

I am using the Spectrum books to homeschool my 1st and 4th graders. They seem to be working very well for us.

This product is written in a very simple, clear cut form. There isn't a lot of fluff, which is great when you just want to learn the facts. It explains how to do the problems, then gives plenty of opportunity for practice. My 4th and 7th graders use these titles as their primary math resources.

This is a very good book it explains addition, subraction, up to 4 digit multipication and division. It has the metric system and the customary system. There is also comparing fractions, adding fraction, subtracting them, and mutipling them. There are pre-tests and tests for every chapter. THIS BOOK IS GREAT I WOULD SAY BUY IT
