A Wonderful Book!!

This book is my favorite Chick Lit book ever because it was different. It was super funny, very witty, and I couldn't put it down until the last page and the surprise ending, which I did not guess. This is the best book Red Dress has ever done!!!

What Red Dress Ink Should Be...

Spanish Disco is the Red Dress Ink book that I've been waiting for! This book contains all of the elements that an uber-chick novel needs to be a true power read: an angst-ridden singleton, an understanding boss, a wise old mentor, a power job, a love triangle, trans-atlantic cyber affair, and an island paradise setting. Don't let the kitschy cover fool you...Spanish Disco is a for real read. So, if you've been reading and enjoying the Red Dress Ink series, but feel like some of the plots and characters fall a bit short, then this book will quench your thirst for a fun, yet brilliant chick novel.

Sandra Bullock, read this

OK, so maybe after making 28 Days, which plays fairly continuously in most rehabilitation centers, Sandra Bullock wouldn't want to play the hard-drinking heroine of this book. But it will definitely be a movie one of these days. Witty, sophisticated, a marvelous surprise for one who hasn't read a romance since since her Victoria Holt days in highschool. A character real enough to make me wonder what Cassie is up to right now in. . .but I won't spoil the surprise. This one is ripe for a sequel.

Spanish Disco is Red Dress Ink's best yet!

A page-turner with a heroine who is proud to be smart and tough, this book is a winner. It's so refreshing to read chick-lit with a heroine who isn't trying to hide her brains in order to get the guy of her dreams. I loved this book and can't wait to read Orloff's next one.

Quirky, Atypical, Glorious.

I finished reading this book the day I bought it.. it was my splurge purchase at ....Several things I liked about it -1) Original Plot. Original Relationships. There are so many books out there that are cookie cutter in design - career woman is out for love.. finds it with some trouble in between.. finds peace within herself blah blah blah. Wake up. That's not necessarily real life. No one is guaranteed a happy, functional ending. Sometimes you have to find happiness in what you get - regardless of its idealism. This book does that.2) Wit. Bless Wit. So many books are witty & this is one of them. 3) Acceptance of imperfections. This woman didn't feel the need to change for anyone.. she was very aware of her flaws but she never promised to change for anyone - and she was accepted, and loved, for it. I hope this author writes more in the future. Life isn't a direct route from point A to point B with a few climatic adventures in between resulting in paradise C.. she understands that.
