A very good photo-essay on modern Soviet/Russian military aviation with both fixed-wing and helicopters featured. What sets this one apart from the rest is that the photos were taken by a telented Russian photographer with inside access to Russian bases and aircraft, and had the full cooperation of the Russian AF in setting up the shots - on the ground and in the air! The book has a very interesting forward section, but the rest is all really nice, large images.With what these are going for on the used book circuit, you really can't lose with this one.
