Great epic story telling! I love all the Penn Cage books and this one did not disappoint.

This book is filled with hatred not only for Trump but for the Republican Party. Iles sounds deranged. I have read most of his books and enjoyed every one but this one is beyond sanity. I am on page 212 and have decided not to read another page. I am a Republican who voted for Obama twice and have since come to regret both votes but I don’t spew hatred like this. The extreme left couldn’t have done a better job of writing a book.

Just finished the arduous 963 pages of Greg Iles’ “Southern Man”. What a piece of vile, hate, and odiferous prose. Greg appears to have contracted a case of TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome). Must be uncomfortable to live in a state that he portrays as widely racist and bigoted. I had 16 of his books, I now have none...there not be another one in my library.
