Awesome

I thought this book was amazing. I have read the whole series several times. I loved the story of Lyna Lee falling in love...

Inccredible I never read a book that fast.

It was so good. I practically read it in one sitting. I have read the Liberty Bell and this book, Sound the Trumpet they both blew me away. I loved it. They had a little of everything that I like in a book, Romance, Action, Mystery, Drama. I recomend this book to all readers it inspired me to read more of his books. Good job Morris it was great. I couldn't put it down and I know if you read it, you wouldn't be able to set it down either. Don't hesitate it is well worth the money. And if you don't have the money get it from your local library it is excellant. Gilbert has an inspiring gift at writing books, I feel as though the characters are close friends. That I know them. Read the series it is awesome.

My favorite Morris book!

I read this book in one sitting, and stayed up half the night. I suggest it to anyone who likes romantic historical fiction. My favorite part is when Lyna disguises herself as a man. Of all the books in the series this was my favorite! I would also suggest Sally Laity's Revolutionary series if you like this era.

Excellent

I could not put this book down. It held my interest all the way through. I read the first two books in this series in less than a week! { about 350 pages a book} It also has some historical fiction in it; though you don't really notice it. It takes place during the Revolutionary War, but the main characters are activelyinvolved with people like George Washington, Paul Revere, Samuel Adams etc... Very well written, very good plot -- excellent book!
