This is THE best book I've read on mothering. Elizabeth hit the nail on the head every step of the way. Several times throughout the book I wondered how she knew "me" -- But she does offer hope and gives great insight into the GIFT of being a Mom and wife. She is scripturally sound and does not waver from the truth that it is CHRIST that gives us the strength we need from day to day. After reading this one, I read all her other "MOM" books. This book is terrific! I found it at a garage sale, of all places, but am so grateful I bought it on impulse. For any Christian woman, or mother, this book resonates like few others. It is sassy, humorous, insightful, and right on target. It has been a book I have routinely reread. I found it especially helpful to get through the early years with my children. Hope she keeps writing!
