Someone I Love Died

I recently purchased this book for my great nieces and nephews who lost their Great Grandmother. My 3-year-old nephew started asking questions about death, while visiting GiGi before she passed away and even though his mom is a Christain, she had no easy answers for her son. As a former teacher and church librarian, I remembered we had books on death for children but didn't recall names of the books. So, I did some research and found this precious book, it gives a clear definition and explanation about when God calls us home to be with him. It's for ages 3 and up but I truly enjoyed the story, the illustrations, and the sweet message of God, the open invitation to his calling. I would recommend this book to children and adults of all ages. Very loving, tender and caring. I loved the way the author used her own experience when writing the book. I will be recommending this book as much as I can to anyone who has young children and are struggling with the death of a loved one.
