This small work is a wonderul read. It is basically about love and relationships. It is quite insightful, very well written and certainly leaves the reader with much to think about. The style is rather quaint, which may be a turn off for some readers. This is certainly not a "Technical Manual" on love and relationship or a "how to do it" book. It simply gives one persons view, and leaves the reader to think for him or her self. Highly recommend this one. Loved ever page and word written here.
A Thank You

I came across this book fifteen years ago, following the end of a love affair. I read and reread its contents, finding hope, clarification of past and present relationships, and an unbelievabe understanding of men. The book may not always convey what a woman WANTS to hear;however, with an open heart, she will experience its truths. Now, years later, I began trying to obtain a copy for each of my early twenties daughters, who I see experiencing the same former hurts, frustrations, and disillusionments as their mom. Many thanks for making this out-of-print book available to us.
Wonderful, wise, wistful! Required reading for lovers.

This book should be reprinted and made easily available to anyone who has been in love, hopes to be in love and has been out of love. I gave away my paperback copy years ago. And now when I need it for a friend, I've had to find it via Inter-library loan. I'm grateful for that, but would like my very own copy once again. What was wise and insightful 20 years ago still applies today.
Eye Opener for Men and Women Considering Love / Lovingness

The depth of honesty and breadth of topics, the intimate style of the author, all combined to teach (or remind, I'm not that bad)this guy some valuable lessons about loving, women, men, etc. A good read, plenty of wisdom packed in this little book !
Outstanding reflections on relationships that stands head,

heart and all well above the simplistic pap, sap and crap that books about Venus and Mars blather on about. This book is elegant, thoughtful, deeply moving and graceful -- unlike so much modern claptrap. This is a keeper, which I am currently rereading for the 6th time or so and look forward to doing many more times because of it's ageless wisdom.
