So far I'm pretty pleased with this book. It has a nice cross mix of ahead-of-it's time (the book came out in 1987 predating the current trend in anime inspired monster doll art) wacky shapes, creatures, and color blends interspersed with traditional grandma's church bazaar styles of baby dolls, ballerinas and Santa. Very clear directions and patterns, and lovely color photos to help guide and visualize your end product. I have a cornucopia of plush and doll making books, and this is one that I see as having a wider scope than most. A keeper for my shelf.
