"Snuggle Bugs" is the lucky 13th installment in the "Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Library," based on the stories from the TV show. This one is based on "Snuggle Bugs," originally written by Nadine van der Velde and adapted by David Kirk. Miss Spider and Holley were looking forward to an exciting show of the Firefly Ballet, but rain has canceled their plans. Now they have to tuck the kids, who are scared of the storm, in for the night. Shimmer swoops in to save the day. She says that she'll help her brothers and sisters all get to bed, allowing her parents to have a nice, quiet evening. Helping her brothers and sisters may be harder than Shimmer thinks, though. They're all very scared of the storm, but then Shimmer comes up with a great idea to comfort them and help them get to sleep. But who will help Shimmer when she ends up getting scared by a loud thunderclap?
