This book was a disappointment

There were endless descriptions of snow and Icelandic weather, and this appeared to be the main purpose of the book. The characters were uninteresting, the plot was dull and I did not see any hint whatsoever of "Agatha Christie's style" (these are the critic's words on the book jacket). Take it from me, and do-not-waste-your-money on this book. I have no idea who-done-it because I couldnt-care-less. (Yawn).

Justice isn't always just. I can't put my finger on it, but this is addicting

This is truly complicated. Murders past give clues to the present murders in a small seacoast village. The past as it turns into the present is always in italics The long Icelandic winters make guilty people more paranoid. It helps that this village has quirky villagers, even the police. Everybody has a secret, and Ari Thor isn't any different. Ari is trying to find his place and develop into a police officer, but he's snow blind bwth his youth and trying to have a long distance relationship with Kirsten. This is the type of book, where I've been buying and reading to find out more.
