We have all of Susan Paradis' books, and this is my favorite (I think my three-year-old daughter would agree!). The simple story of a girl waiting for her daddy to come home is the backdrop for Ms. Paradis' gorgeous and imaginative illustrations. The elegantly dressed creatures, the mystical dragon, and the Snow Princess herself captivated my daughter from the very first reading. And searching for the seal hidden on each page, a clever game Ms. Paradis played in her previous books, is great fun. Snow Princess would be a beautiful addition to any child's library.

This story is wonderfully told in beautiful, moving illustrations. The story is of a girl waiting for her father to return home. While waiting, she imagines herself as a princess and the snow around her becomes the stuff of every little girl's dreams.
