Since television, computer and video games have become the overwhelming medium in our society. My children and I happened upon this book when the author was doing a signing at our local bookstore, and how pleased we are that we did. It is a delightful romp through a young girl's fantasy of it snowing inside the house, which has encouraged my children to make up their own crazy stories. It is especially wonderful when a book goes beyond itself and motivates children to think and create themselves. The rhymes are great and the illustrations unique and amusing. It is a book that every family will keep long after the children are grown.
