Small Acts of Kindness

I loved this book and bought many copies to give out at Christmas. People loved it, and one of my co-workers told me his five year old daughter gives him a hug each morning, saying, "remember, this starts it off."

Excellent Story

This is an excellent story for everyone esp for children to help them understand the meaning of good deeds and happpiness.

Small Acts, Big Effects

When my children first heard this story, they attempted to do all sorts of little things to help. Helping in little ways makes Mama happy, when Mama's happy, there's more care involved in making dinner and keeping house, when there's more care in housekeeping, Daddy's happy. And when Daddy's happy, the whole family is happy. The small acts in this book lead to the supreme act of kindness, God sending his Son to redeem the world. The recent one-star review doesn't do this book justice. Just because the reviewer happens not to believe that Jesus is our Redeemer doesn't mean that the book is in any way bad. Jesus *was,* after all, born. That's an historical fact. And any birth is a miraculous act of kindness from God, don't you agree? This book is an excellent study on circle and cause and effect stories and on acting with love toward each other. All around, it's one of those stories that warms you to your toes when you read it. It warms those who hear it as well. It's well worth the price. We use it over and over again.

Beautiful Message

This is a beautiful book that is simply written and easy for any child 3 and up to understand. Kindness is something that can be instilled in their hearts and that they can act on as they grow. Very endearing.
