Sleeping with Her Rival

This is book three in the Barones series and is the story of Gina Barone. Her family brings in Flint, an outside PR "spin doctor", to help them recover from some bad publicity that occured when someone sabbotoged a new gelato flavor they had introduced. Gina resents the outside help because she feels she is professional enough to handle the problem herself. Sparks fly when Flint and Gina are introduced and Gina finally relents and agrees to let Flint help. Flint, the son of a Hollywood actor and dead actress, is gorgeous. He is dark haired with incredible cheekbones that he inherited from his native American mother. He has recently discovered that there are secrets about his late mother, but his family refuses to discuss them with him. He decides he will never marry a career woman but wants someone who will devote themselves to being a wife and mother. Flint and Gina decide to have a fake steamy love affair to take away negative publicity and focus all the media on their affair. Gina discovers that Flint had an affair with an older famous actress years ago and to her surprise finds she is jealous, Gina is also suffereing from an ulcer that is made worse from all the stress lately. Flint is so attracted to Gina, but she is a career woman, if he sleeps with her it will only be a temporary affair, right? These two start discovering how much they have in common and actually find out their bedrooms are almost identical in decor. Also, everytime they go out to eat they almost always order the same dinner. They are perfect for one another but can they figure that out and overcome all the emotional blocks they have put up. I really liked this story, Flint is gorgeous but has emotional depth. Gina is strong, but vulnerable at the same time. Great chemistry.

one word WOW i thought this was a good story i like sheri whitefeather's work i think she is very talent and i also think she did a very good job on this book to me personally i think The Barones family is one of the best Dynasties for silhouette desire

This was my first read from this author, i thought it was great. Gina and Flint are thrown together when he is brought to clean up a trouble from Gina's department of her family's company. Gina is angry about his intrusion at first, but as they are forced to worker together in a scandal of their own they fall in love. This book is steamy and hot, so get a fan and some iced tea ready for your reading session.

This is the second book by Sheri Whitefeather that I've read and I have really enjoyed both books. In order to deflect a scandal from her family's company, PR guru Gina Barone agrees to create a fake scandal with PR rep Flint Kingman. What starts out as a fake affair for the benefit of the tabloids, quickly heats up as Flint discovers that Gina is not such an ice princess after all.
