Skippyjon has an overactive imagination. And he is pretty active himself. Here he shapes up with shapes- he runs in a circle, tap-dances on a square, orbits an oval. And then the great sword fighter... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I like reading this little book to my son. He likes the pictures which are bold and bright and clearly show the shape. We also have original SkippyJon Jones book so I think he recognizes the character. My only complaint is that I wish the shapes were solid colors so that I could be teaching him shapes and colors at the same time!
Very nice

Skippyjon Jones is the hero of a series of children's books written by Judy Schachner. This particular book teaches the young reader about shapes - circles, squares, stars, etc. The book itself is a boardbook which makes it easy for little ones the handle, and harder for them to destroy. The text is nice and relatively simple, though you might have to explain what it means to "salsa." And, the illustration work is nice and cute. This is another nice Skippyjon Jones book, one that is every bit as good as the rest in the series!
It's great board book.

My friend bought another Skippyjon Jones board book for my son, and he loves them so much. So I decided to buy this book, and he loves it too! The pictures are so cute, and colorful. It's great board book for infant-toddler.
