This book is a must have for Expats living in Shanghai, or anyone wanting to get to know the city better. The authors provide wonderful details so that the reader/walker can easily find their way, complete with ping ying and characters so that you can direct a taxi driver as to where you'd like to begin your walk. I like having the flexibility to grab the book and pick out a walk on my own time and not have to wait for a guided tour - this book provides tons of details no need for a guide!
