This title should actually be written as follows: Situational Functional Japanese, Volume One: NotesThe Tsukuba Language Group at Tsukuba University (the most prestigious language teaching college in the country) designed these books. They are indeed excellent! I cannot recommend them enough. They can be used for self study or group study, whichever.
