Trish Albright is tops at writing compelling dialog and rip-roaring action scenes. This high-seas romance had me hooked from the first page to the last. What would Captain Alexandra Stafford do next? What dangers would her arch-rival Paxton throw at her? Would Alex and Joshua ever be together again? I suggest you get this book and read it -- and any others you can find by this fantastic author.

Siren's song is a delightful blend of fantasy and adventure. It's fast pace will have you breathless before the end of chapter one and keep you riveted through to the final word. It's a great love story and a tenderly crafted family story. Through Ms. Albright's vivid description, understanding of the history of the era, her research of the high seas, and her willingness to create tension and emotion on every page, she has created a great page turner.

This was a delight to read. The story is fun, the improbable heroine is so well written she becomes believeable in context. This is swashbuckling at its best with some really well researched treasure. The dialogue is exceptional. This is a first novel and I'm hoping that Ms Albright is working hard on the second.
