Book Overview

People today are constantly on the run. Between work and kids and relationships, there's hardly a moment to breathe. A truly inspirational book

M. D. Gray, author of "Smilosophy:Getting More Smileage Out of Life" , heartily recommends this book. This is a book that will enhance the readers view of life and living. In addition to the book, there is also the music cd with the song "Simple Things" on it that packs a powerful message. This book takes the reader down to real life. The readers of Simple Things are brought face to face with the issues that matter, many thoughts are shared about the common issues and things of this life. I highly recommend this one.

Simply put, one should read this book.

As befits its title, the book is an easy read. You could leisurely read and enjoy it on a plane or train ride. And I agree with finding something simple (such as brownies) as a "pickmeup" when you're slightly down.

Nice Book

I recently read the book, and like a previous reviewer said, this is definitely the kind of book you read one part at a time. Its a nice book, and like Jim's music its very personal and not complicated. I hope he will write more books in the future that are more "insightful" - I think Jim Brickman is an interesting person..

Great book!

I bought this book because I just love Jim Brickman's music. This book is one of those books you read a chapter at a time and reflect on the content. Jim has made me laugh and think back to those earlier years and to step back and realize what is important in life. I highly recommend this book and it certainly could not have come at a more appropriate time in light of our Nation's tragedy. God bless America!
