Sewing with a Certain Savior Faire The inimitable Celine Dupuy presents sewers of all skill levels with more than fifty projects, each with a touch of something wonderfully, whimsically French.... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I love this book and I finally got a copy of it for myself. It's something that I've checked out multiple times at my library and made several of the projects that are featured in this book. Particularly, the stuff for the bathroom. A lot of the projects are fairly easy to do, especially if you have a basic knowledge of sewing. I absolutely recommend this book to anybody who is interested in sewing something modern with a Parisian twist.
Awesome book

This book is very beautiful, all the projects are lovely and it is nicely written and ilustrated. It has many interesting features, as the fact that everything is separated by groups such bath stuff, bed clothes, children or kitchen stuff. There is a very interesting review over materials, tools and procedures at the beginning and a fabric guide at the end with a list of shops you can find on-line. It is also true that you need to be quite experienced sewer to follow the patterns but the steps are well illustrated. I've found it so inspirational.

If you do not like patterns, have basic sewing knowledge, or are used to using Japanese craft sewing books, this is a great book. If you are new to sewing this may not be the book for you. The directions are clear and the projects lovely. The basic instructions at the start are also handy. I love this book!
