Terrific Book!

This was my first Lori Copeland novel, and I'm SO looking forward to reading more of her work! In "Simple Gifts", you never knew what the quirky characters were going to do next. I laughed out loud several times, and shed a few tears as well. This is the kind of book you want to "savor" because you don't want it to end.

Simply wonderful

I enjoyed this book so much. It was very inspirational and very different. Her writing is so vivid and truly gets you involved in the story.

enjoyable read, thought-provoking look at forgiveness

Lori Copeland's "Simple Gifts" is just that - a wonderful gift of a novel about a woman who never believed she could come home again, her overbearing daughter, and the man she left behind. When Marlene returns home to sell her deceased Aunt's house, she learns a valuable lesson about giving and receiving forgiveness. This book is beautifully written and full of humor. There are also action sequences that keep you on the edge of your seat, and a romance woven throughout that will captivate you. Bravo, Miss Copeland!

Great Read

This is the best book Lori Copeland has ever written. I really enjoyed the characters, plot and feel of the book. Highly recommended!

Very Enjoyable Read!

The book begins with " My momma always said ' Life is like a box of chocolate. You never know what you're gonna get.' Forrest Gump's mom was right.....my life...It was a box of chocolates - and someone had eaten the creams and left me the nuts." Lori Copeland writes a humourous book that includes insight, inspiration and much enjoyment. I very much enjoyed it! I have also read Monday Morning Faith by Lori Copeland and enjoyed it - but this is even better! I work as my church's librarian, and Monday Morning Faith has been one of most popular new fiction books - and I predict with great certainty that this book will prove even more in demand. A wonderful, easy , fun read!

One of Her Best

I loved this book. It will go on my shelf of to be kept. Her dialogue between characters and descriptions make the story so real. I just felt the entire story. I love her other books too and recommend all of them highly.
