This book has sweet and unique designs which combine several crafting/needlework techniques - sewing, crochet, knit, embroidery...I love that it uses different textures, combines knit with fabric and that the projects are indeed simple. The patchwork blanket is one which I plan to use often to make dog blankets to donate to dog sheters - it will help me to use up my yarn AND fabric scraps and will make very pretty blankets that come together quickly.
