Ralph Compton-Showdown at Two-Bit Creek

This book on cd was bought as a gift for my grandfather who loves to read but has lost some of his sight. He has enjoyed listening to his favorite westerns now, this being one of them. I have bought several of them for him now.

Showdown At Two Bit Creek, cassette version is as good as can be. Narrated by Mr. Texas, Jim Gough. The narrator is different and inferior on the CD version. Back to the cassette. There are sound effects too. A good western story with some mystery too and many witticisms. For example: - I'm not a man that likes to be stampeded. - He was a man to ride the river with. - He knew every last grain of sand had run through the hour glass; the time for talk was over. Buy the cassette version, you won't be disappointed even if you have to pay $25 as I did. Don't buy the CD version.
