Shenandoah Autumn is about girl who lived during the civil war. I found it intresting that the book was taking place in the south and that the characters supported the confederates, it made the book more intresting. Their is a ton of "pink fluff" when it comes to the "romance" but when it comes to the battle and all the people dying, the author doesn't hold out. It is was perfect book for just sitting around doing nothing.
