Sharper Than A Serpents Tooth (Originally titled A Mother's Son) is probably the best out of the Nightside books so far. It is definately the most action packed and exciting, as John Taylor races to find a way to defeat his long-lost mom. I can happily say that this is not the last book- another Nightside novel, currently titled "And Follow Darkness Like A Dream" has already been completed and should see the light of day before...
