Shalom Bayis with a Twist of Humor: 7 Tips to a Healthy Marriage

I think this book is very clever and reminded me of what it was like to grow up in my old neighborhood. The way of life and and amusing stories portrayed an accurate picture of what life was like growing up in a predominately Jewish neighborhood of mostly Polish, German and Russian immigrants. While this book was more geared toward the traditions I grew up with, my wife who is Catholic also appreciated the humor in this book. While many of the jokes and stories reminded me of watching Henny Youngman on the Ed Sullivan or Merv Griffin show they brought a tear and a smail to me as they were able to bring me back to that simpler or more innocent time of one's youth. I haven't had anyone call me Yudel since my Bubbie passed but I could hear her voice again.
