If you want to read a book that will explain how to get rich quick, this is NOT the book for you. If you would like a book that spells out an easy path to wisely manage your money, this IS the book for you. Mr. Fisher uses 7 witty tales to illustrate ways in which to invest and save as well as how not to invest and save. This book is a great read for anyone who is turned off by technical talk and heavy investment strategies. Whether you are in your late teens, or getting ready to retire, this book can help you simplify and get back on track with your money.
A Rare Gem

Brian Fisher has written a book that is packed with vital information regarding money, finances and sound investment principles. But his book, Seven Investment Tales," is far from "another money book." Seven Tales is a clever, entertaining read from start to finish. I'll confess that I had intended to skim the book. However, Fisher instantly had me hooked like a big old mudcat. Alternately woven into the text are rhymes, recipes and humor. But best of all, there is no "investmentese" in his Tales. This book is a must have for anyone desiring to educate him/herself about managing investments responsibly. And it is a thoroughly refreshing read! This book is for everyone! First, don't judge a book by it's cover.....look inside, you'll be pleasantly suprised. It's NOT another boring financial book. Mr. Fisher takes the complicated and makes it simple by creatively illustrating, through fun stories and parables, financial concepts such as mutual funds, indexes, active management and portfolios. Mr. Fisher has a unique talent for creative writing and uses that skill to reach all of us who usually fall asleep during conversations with our advisors who tend to dominate the conversation with their language of "investmentese". Thank you, Mr. Fisher for a fresh, simple approach to understanding the sometimes complicated world of financial investing. I've homeschooled for the last 12 years and suggest that this book would be an awesome addition to a high school finance/investing curriculum.
