Seven from Heaven: The Miracle of the McCaughey Septuplets

This book was great. I had a really hard time putting it down. I have three kids so I can relate to some of the things that was said.

This is the best book that I've read in a long time that expresses faith in an ordinary, loving person such as Bobbi. (I didn't mean that as an offense) She has done the right thing by glorifying God in the press and in the book. I commend her efforts, because our God is an awesome God, and if we believe and have faith, He will supply ALL our needs, and He has kept His promise to her and her husband. I know that being in the public isn't what she dreamed of, but in this way she Glorified God, and that was meant to be. :) God Bless You and Your Family, Sandra D.

I felt this book was one of the best books I have read in a long time. It gave great insight into the lives of the McCaughey's and their reasons to keep all seven fetuses. Their faith in God, strength as a couple, and community support are highly commendable. This book will definitely touch the lives of whoever reads it regardless of whether or not you have children. I found myself laughing, crying, and praying all throughout the book. You could actually feel their fear and anticipation, their happiness and joy. It was just a wonderfully fullfilling book. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Within the first couple chapters, I realized that the media didn't paint an accurate picture of what truly happened to the McCaughey family. This book is a book of miracles and possibly something the media wanted to avoid. I couldn't put the book down because I was so surprised to find out how God was actually working in the pregnancy of the sestuplets. I no longer have any doubts that the McCaughey sestuplets were meant to be and that the McCaughey family is a true witness of what it means to have faith in something that is unexplainable.

I just finished reading this book. My husband gave it to me as a Christmas gift. I enjoyed it very much. I liked reading about such an extraordinary story happening to two very ordinary people. The book includes lots of details about Bobbi's pregnancy and delivery. I would have enjoyed learning more about their lives after they left the hospital, but I guess that will have to wait for a future book. They do include some postpartum information, of course. I would estimate, however, that three quarters of the book deals with their infertility and later the pregnancy and delivery. It is an inspiring story that I would recommend to others.
