History is written by the victors. Even recounting the memories of the losers! This book was done in conjunction with a BBC series recounting the experiences of several German soldiers, pilots and submariners. Most became disillusioned by the end of the war. The most poignant comments came from their looking back at what had been done. Definitely worth reading! The pictures alone are worth picking this book up at the used book store. All the best, Jay
