Wow, Just Wow!

True spine tingling book. The ending absolutely blew my mind. I can usually predict who the killer is, but in this case I was shocked. I recommend this novel to anyone who wants a true page turner that will keep you up nights.

Believable for paranormal!

This is not the sort of book I would normally order but am so glad I did. I've read The Bishop Trilogies, by Kay Hooper & found all of her books believable & looking forward to all that she writes. A great series. Highly recommend.

Awesome!

I'm not usually into mysteries but I really liked this book. It had good characters, an interesting plot and a touch of romance. I'd like to toot my own horn by saying I suspected the identity of the murderer before it was revealed...but it's so well written that I suspected EVERYBODY! (in my opinion that's a very good thing).

Every Bit as Good as Anything Hooper has Written

Police Chief Rafe Sullivan knows a serial killer is on the loose when the third blond victim shows up. Some how the killer manages to entice these cuties into the woods without a fight and that's got Sullivan stumped. Too much for a small town police chief to handle alone, so along come the feds in the person of Isabel Adams, a blonde every bit as cute as the killer's victims. Isabel is from the FBI's Special Crimes Unit, a fictional team of psychic agents that have become real to Hooper's readers. Our heroine has the ability to get in the mind of the killer, but she gets too close and sets herself up as his next victim. This five star book is the best of the "Evil" series and every bit as good as any of Hooper's "Shadow" books. I read "Sense of Evil" in one sitting and loved every second of it. One of the advantages of being married to a writer is that there are plenty of good books around the house. It's turned me into quite a reader of mysteries and thrillers. In addition to Ken's books you might also want to check out Blood Dreams & Sleeping with Fear, two other fine thrillers by Kay Hooper.

Use all six senses to enjoy this book!

This is ellen in atlanta - Don't know how Kay Hooper has eluded me in the past but I ordered The Sense of Evil and truly enjoyed the book - as a matter of fact, I ordered all her previous Bishop books in paperback to catch up as there were references to past events that seemed to explain things in this book. But that didn't stop me from enjoying this book and wanting more - If you are a believer of ESP or are open to possibilities that there is more than our 'normal' senses give us, then this book is for you, because it blends a good thriller with the psychic world. And Hooper does it well -

Sense of Evil is a GREAT read!

Kay Hooper never disappoints her readers and her latest book, "Sense of Evil" is no exception. She keeps the reader guessing until the end. I also enjoy all the secondary characters which round out the story nicely. I would definitely recommend this book to someone who enjoys a good mystery with a little romance.

anticipation

As I have yet to have the privelige of reading this latest in a long list of winning works by Kay Hooper, I can only say I expect to will be as big a hit as all her others. She is a brilliant author who is able to centre on the way in which the true psychic performs, without fanfare or grandstanding. I can't wait to get it in my hot little hands to devour the latest in tension and mystic. I am sure I am not going to be disappointed.
