Jack Torelli, Cassie Callahan, and the cast of people they both encounter on their lifes' journeys are the perfect blend to move the plot to the sizzling climax. Was it really passion? For new author Linda Coleman, it was. Plenty of passion was thrown into these wonderful characters. Keep it up!
It Made Me Laugh

Linda Coleman took a serious topic and wove it, when you least expected, with humor. Cassie was soooo funny, I found myself laughing out loud. Even when Cassie was faced with a custody battle for her daughter, Coleman could find humor with Cassie's hilarious trip to the psychiatrist and her old, old lawyer. It's a book you have to read.
You Gotta Love 'Em

The eccentric Cassie Callahan is so hilarious and so sad, I laughed and cried at the same time. And as for Jack Torelli, the ill-fated porn star, his self-hate was so evident page to page, my sympathy meter was on high for the first seventeen or so chapters. When the two together were ultimately victorious after the very difficult journey they had taken in the book, I found myself cheering. In fact, with Seeking Out Harry, I felt a lot. It was no blah, bland book, rather about real life. You gotta love Cassie and Jack!
Pass it along!

Seeking Out Harry is a rare find in a world of formula books. It's original, creative, and the fact that it was partially set in Minnesota tickled me. To all Minnesotans, I send this challenge. . .Pass it along. You won't be sorry.
The characters are realistic.

I've never written a book nor even a short story, but when reading about novel writing through the eyes of main character Cassie Callahan, I could feel the difficulty. And I couldn't help asking myself, Was this Coleman while she was writing "Seeking Out Harry" ? It was that realistic to me. As well, I've never in real life, met an actor of pornography, but I felt like I did in this book.Although the writing was graphic in some parts,I saw the necessity. The immersing into Jack's dark world made me feel his torture. If I hadn't felt it, I would have never sympathized with him. When the two got together, I had tears in my eyes. It was so wrong and so right at the same time. The book was a different type of love story and I appreciated being transported away from the status quo.I hope to read more books by Linda Coleman.
