Captivating...

Seducing the Prince was wonderful! Ms Grasso's characters and storyline ensnared me. The writting is rich in detail that waxes and wanes ehrough a captivating story of passion, deceit and love. I was wrapped up and pulled in to the world of Reggie and Viktor, the Merchant's daughter and a Russian Prince, thrown together by their spouses' affair but drawn to each other by so much more. I was unable to find release through the twists and turns until the last page!

You Will Be Seduced!!!

Ms. Grasso has done it again. She has combined witty and fun characters, a daring storyline (both hero and heroine are married to other people at the beginning of the story) and a mystery that will keep the reader guessing. As a result this reader will be fully engrossed and won't want to put the book down until the final page. Regina Bradford is married to a fool. Her husband has a mistress and he is welcome to her if it means that he will leave Regina alone. She is the daughter of a merchant and he managed to purchase a title for his daughter. Problem is Regina is far from happy, but feeds her imagination by penning a romance of her own. She's in trouble though, when her manuscript starts reflecting real life events. Prince Viktor Kazanov meets Regina in the most unlikely places. She is refreshing and speaks to his rather cynical heart. She is witty, beautiful, and strong. She has also found herself in a very difficult situation when her husband and Viktor's wife are found dead together. Who murdered them and why? Soon Viktor and Regina find themselves in a situation that will test their new found feeling, and just might bring an end to their happy ever after. Will they find out who is killing people around them before one of them falls victim? This was a very sweet yet sensual read. Regina is a very unique character for the time period and as a result this brought a fresh aspect to this storyline. Add to that, the unusual situation where both of our protaginest are involved with other people. Ms. Grasso has a wonderful gift for telling a story and this effort is no exception. The reader will be seduced by our dark romantic hero, and his spunky true love. Official Reviewer for www.romancedesigns.com

Seducing the Prince

Reader, prepare to take a journey of betrayal, love and independence. Ms. Grasso's skill with the written word is amazing. I laughed out-loud. I cried. I also could not put this book down. Regina Bradford is a delight from the moment you meet her crafting prose. You want to stand in her parlor and encourage her verbal jabs at her cheating husband. Only to learn that she must attend this party she dreads. Enter Prince Viktor Kazanov. Many fans of Ms. Grasso will recognize this name and welcome the chance to read more about these amazing brothers. Viktor Kazanov is tired of his wife's infidelity and wants her to change her ways. At the Duke of Inverary's home, Prince Viktor and Reggie share time away from their cheating spouses. The pair dreams for a change of circumstance to explore their budding feelings. The longing of a family and home is so tangible you ache for both characters. Found murdered are the cheating spouses of Reggie and Prince Viktor. The Chief Prosecutor is looking to close the case and push a hasty outcome. In the face of the daunting English Courts, Reggie and Prince Viktor will face their worst fears, and learn their strongest beliefs rest within themselves. I do not wish to give away plot so I will leave that tidbit hanging. You will find the secondary plot just as interesting as the primary. You will love Ginny and Amadeus Black. You will tick away characters as the mystery unfolds. I know you will find this book to be a powerful journey of strength, faith and the beauty of love. You will understand what a strong bond the Kazanov family has with one another. I applaud Ms. Grasso on another wonderful book. As a bonus for all of us who love the Kazanov family, we get a sneak peak at the next installment.

Royal Magic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The reviewer below has given you an outline of what the book was about, so I'm not going to repeat it. First let me say that this book is laugh out loud funny. The Kazanov's brothers do not act like royalty but everyday people. They bicker and tease each other like most "normal" families. Regina (Reggie) and Ginger are two bluestockings who shocked the socks off the Duke of Inverary and the Kazanov's brother with their business savvy. Regina has a love/hate relationship with her father who married her off to an earl so his merchant daughter would have a title. Charles belittles Regina every chance he gets and lets everyone knows what he thinks of his "merchant wife." Charles is having an affair with Viktor's wife, Adele who is just as big of a snob as Charles is. Viktor meets Regina at the Duke of Inverary house part where sparks fly. Later after Charles and Adele are killed, the killer seems to follow what is happening in the book that Regina is writing. There is a secondary love story between Ginger and Constable Black, which is not over done. I do not want to give too much away because I do want everyone to enjoyable story.

Royal love

Regina Bradford was pawned off in a marriage to a broke Earl by her father Reginald. Regina's husband, Charles, just happens to have Princess Adele as a mistress. She is married to Prince Viktor, of Russia. Regina is more than happy that the princess is keeping her husband occupied while she writes a novel in the same manner as Jane Austen. However, scandal erupts when Viktor is accused of murdering his wife and her lover out of raging jealousy. Regina knows he's innocent because he spent the night in her house. What happens next is a burning passion that both have the opportunity to explore now that their spouses are dead. This book is the second novel that I have read by Grasso. I didn't like the first one, but I will definately be reading more now that I've experienced how well she writes. This story has everything that a romance reader is looking for. Romance, passion, intrigue, and a great mystery that I bet you can't solve till it is finally exposed in the book. There is plenty of subtle humor in this book also. She is the perfect heroine. She has plenty of spine and knows exactly what she wants out of life, and she's not afraid to speak her mind. Run, don't walk to the bookstore to pick this one up.
