The "secrets" in the title are not really secrets, but lesser-known factoids which are already in the public domain. For those who liked the way in which Paul Harvey presented his short snippets of information as "... the rest of the story," this format will be comfortable. Each section is usually two pages of information salted liberally with photographs and drawings. I found that I could easily read several sections before going to sleep at night, and, because each section is complete unto itself, I lost nothing by cutting short my reading after any one section. I found very few things which I'd consider inaccuracies based upon theological grounds. This book is generally favorable to Catholic history and consciences, though, as an ex-catholic, that isn't a necessity in my eyes. Very interesting. I recommend it.
