Awesome book!

This is an excellent series and I enjoyed this book especially. The chapter where the family prepares to "fight against the powers and pricipalities" was well written, showing the importance of faith and honesty. I am anxiously awaiting #8, what will happen between Cheney and Shilo next? If you like this book check out "The Covenant of Love", also by Gilbert Morris.

The best so far!

Cheney Duvall has been my favorite fictional charactar ever since I picked up the first book in this series! I can't recommend these books more. They stay at Les Chattes Bleus, the indigo plantation owned by Cheney's great-aunts. Cheney is called there because the indigo is mysteriously dying. Then the sharecroppers...

This book was GREAT!

I really liked this book! I have been hooked on this series since they first came out, and now I am even more hooked!! I liked how the authors led into the next book by establishing the setting, that really leaves you hanging, but in a good way! For you new comers to the series, this is one of the best line of books I have ever read. The morals are great, but the authors do not "preach" to you. The book is about a female...
