Secret Lovers: Affairs Happen . . . How to Cope

I am currently in an affair with a much older, married man. This affair has not been easy on me...keeping secrets from my parents, hiding the truest love I've ever known from co-workers and friends, not being able to spend time with the man I love. It's not easy being the other woman and finally I've found a book that makes me feel that I am not alone. That all the effort I'm putting into this relationship may well be worth it. It doesn't make me feel guilty for being the other woman, like so much of society would. Ours is a loving, caring, passionate love affair. I couldn't ask for more. I'm glad to see that the author of this book acknowledges that affairs are not only normal, but healthy as well. A must read for any woman who is in an affair and has no one to talk to.

I am reading it for the second time. I am trying to make myself say it is ok to have an affair with a married man. My ex left me 18 years ago with two babies for the other one.
