This is a wonderful collection of tender stories. Flynn manages to paint the human experience with warmth, humor, and perception. My personal favorite is "The Midnight Clear"; the story of a recently met, newly-wed couple on their way to a new life together in Wanderer Springs. In a world that swings back and forth between the cynical and the sentimental, Flynn's characters shine through as both hopeful and fully human.
