Seashore Plants

Short (32 pages) and colorful, a good introduction to seashore plants for your elementary aged child (especially if you live in a landlocked area!). A 12 word vocabulary list (adaptations to tendrils) helps cement basic concepts. The book is divided into two sections: Rocky Shores and Sandy Shores. There are also small illustrations showing the size of a plant in comparison to the size of a child, which is helpful. The above editorial review seems overly persnickety in my opinion.
