Edna Smith Browne has crafted a wonderful find - a sweet and sensitive story that is a page turner. Her exploration of the love in a young woman's heart will deepen your perspective on life. The flavor of the seacoast setting is genuine and vivid. Her characters are true to life. An example is Letty's father - a man like a very hardened person I know. And I didn't think there was anyone else like that out there. Her development of romance is so good it makes you blush at her understanding of human nature. You feel that you yourself have been revealed.
