new horse

I like this book because it tells if your looking for a new horse what not to look for. It's easy to relate to problems like this, and not just with horses, but with friends. It's also got a surpising ending. I rate this book five stars.

Age?

I've been reading the Saddle Club series for as long as I can remember now and there is only one thing that puzzles me age. About 5 Christmas' have past since the books began and Carol still seems to be 12 when shouldn't she be about 16 or 17 by now. Could this please be explained!

I know exactly how you feel

The Saddle club is getting short. The stories are really good but people who started reading them at age 6 and are still reading them 7 years latter. I share the concern people feel for the number of pages. With the books being short it makes it very difficult for the people who have to buy them to read them, ME!$6.95 each month for less than 300 pages is a big drain!!!!!

I Feel The Same

i need the same thing. i can finnish the saddle club books in a half an hour. i need something that is close to 200 or 300 pages. most kids that are my age (12) dont read like that and i under stand, but i really live you books and want to use them for a bookreport, but mine have to be atleast 200 pages long.PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE under stand.

I'm sure this book will be good. To Bonnie Bryant:

I'm sure this book will be good, as most Saddle Club books are. Though, I wish you'd make the Saddle Club book series thicker, Ms. Bryant. It's not that I'm being picky or anything, It's just that I'm going to turn 13 soon and need a thicker Saddle Club book. Not just the super eds. Now, I understand that you have a new Pine Hollow series out, and I've read some of the books(the two that have come out anyway). --But you see, those books aren't as good as the Saddle Club because -1. They don't focus on horses as much -2. What about Deborah and little Maxi--who, in this case, is not supposed to be so little anymore. -3. What about the BAr None?? And you oughtn't have Lisa and John Brightstar break up. What about him?? KAte?? Christine?? Stewball?? Chance?? All of the other horses of the Bar None? You ought to figure something out, like have a Saddle Club University. --Sorry if I sound picky!
