ok my mother got this for me when i was 10. I had an asment to do and i used some of the ideas and it went over great! the book is nicily written. and th thing on popularity was great. in the end the book is useful.

My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed this book! Unlike many of the dense "school" books on the market, Brooks Whitney's creative and playful approach to talking to teachers, homework tips, report writing ideas, popularity....makes this a very readable, and truly helpful book. My daughter especially loved all the quizzes and the colorful illustrations.It should be required reading for all girls. Kudos American Girl, you've done it again!

This is a really good book if you need advice on school. It has some cool homework tips. It also tells all about teachers and what to do if you don't like your new one. This is a very good book if you really need it, but I don't recomend it to people who are starting college because the tips are not about universities, it is for middle school and possibly young high schoolers like my good friend who is starting this fall at a highschool. She really loved this book too, and says that her advice for reading it is to read it before school starts, when you are not yet bored with it. Once again, this has good tips for school. I recomend it because it has really good advice on homework, and reports. Thanks.
