Great resource for ESL students

This dictionary is fantastic for ESL students. It gives simple definitions, cleanly laid-out, without all the complicated etymology, etc... of regular dictionaries. It's just what the ESL teacher ordered!
Perfect dictionary for elementary students

Each entry is printed in blue and the explanation is bold black or black, which make it very easy to read. Very well written. The paper is pretty white but not heavy. This is the only dictionary,that I found, a kid can really use with their little hands.
Great Elementary Dictionary

This is a perfect fit between the picture dictionaries lacking many words and the higher level dictionaries for high school and college. I think it fits the needs for grade 2 to 5. Possibly middle school as well. My kids aren't there yet so I'm not sure.
perfect mid-level kid's dictionary

i tutor lower elementary kids and it's been hard finding a dictionary that suits their needs. a "my first dictionary" doesn't work because of the simple words and baby language, while most other dictionaries are complex and overwhelming since they are for high school kids. this dictionary is the only one i've found that falls in between. i highly recommed.
