A long-lost favorite

I'm sure this has been out of print for years, but I received it in the '80s as a child (I think a matching stuffed bear might have come with it). The illustrations are quiet, snowy, and magical, the story very sweet, and I loved this book. Lost it years ago, but it's well-worth hunting down.
