my gosh!

About a month ago I bought sammy keys and the art of deception. I read it in two hours! It was so good. It is in my top five bestbooks list and even if there are better books it will always be there. Gosh, it was sooo good I can't even begin to explain. Sammy goes to an art show with her grandmother and friend, Hudson. But at the art show some the paintings were atempted to be stolen, but sammy stopped him! She couldn't help thinking why were the piantings stolen? who was that guy? It ends in a twist you wouldn't believe!

Sammy on the mind

This book has got it all - mystery, action, a red-headed enemy, a super cool grandma and of course a couple of cute guys. Written from the point of veiw of one sassy seventh grader these books are really fun to read. I really liked this book because it was funny the way Sammy told it and it had just the right mix of every thing. Sammy Keyes will have you laughing out loud. Seventh grade girls will really love this book because they can see things from Sammy's point of view. They will love the crazy situations that Sammy can get herself into, and they will groan as she battles the all evil Heather Acosta.

This book Rocked! Van Draanen gets better every time she writes. This book makes you think, laugh, angry, happy, and sad all in one blow. Its definitely a book worth reading over and over again. It shows a 7th graders life from their perspective. Sammy has a knack for getting in trouble and she also has a knack for solving mysteries like no other. The biggest difference with Sammy Keyes a Nancy Drew is that Sammy's mysteries happen to pop up, and they aren't just your normal 'something get stolen and the good guy works it out then the bad guy gets caught' mysteries, they are WAY cooler! And this book is the prime of them all.

A great mystery series gets better!

Okay, I LOVE young adult fiction and I love mysteries. So, having the two together is a dream come true. If you haven't heard of Sammy Keyes, you really need to pick up one of the books in the series and read it (preferably this title!). You'll be hooked. Sammy, a spunky 7th grader, doesn't take no for an answer and often lets her curiousness get her into trouble. Think of Nancy Drew with an attitude and high tops. This book, the newest in the series, was full of suspense, humor, and action. This one had me guessing until almost the very end. Also, mine came with a free cd, which had a short reading from another Sammy Keyes book, read by the author. Heck, that was worth the money. Also included were a couple of Sammy Keyes songs. If you love mysteries, grab a copy of this book. You'll be hooked on the series!

A Fabulous book!

This book is excellent and I loved it. Van Draanen is a great author. The other books from the Sammy Keyes series are great too. You've got to read this book!
