I was really excited when I received my package containing my book. Upon opening it disappointment set in. When I ordered the book I was expecting the whole Bible. Afterall the description did say Ryrie study bible(which is old and new testaments), and the picture of the book was just like the one l had previously owned. Instead what I recieved was the Ryrie New Testament ONLY. I did however keep the book because I figured that something was better than nothing at all. But I do feel that the description given was misleading. Hopefully when selling bibles in the future the description could state if it is the complete Bile or just the New Testament.

This portion of the Bible only has the New Testament. Disappointed in listing.

I read that many people recived this as just the New Testament, and was hoping that since that was in 2017 that they have corrected the error. But they have not - the listing still states that its a NASB THE RYRIE STUDY BIBLE and even the cover listing picture shows that- but item recived it just the NT version.

But this one arrived just the New Testament version only. The description and picture presented on the website is incorrect. Unfortunately , I bought this item twice and I was fooled twice . I wish it was described as New Testament copy only. Disappointed!!!!!

First delivery the cover of the book was damaged in packing, but immediate turn-around to get another Ryrie study bible delivered -- was impressed. Gift for my son and he really loves this edition, which also clarifies any questions one might have about the meaning of certain passages, words, etc. Great purchase, very happy!

The Ryrie NASB is a comprehensive Study Bible that will meet all your needs. The Hardcover edition is durable and has a "textbook" like feel to it. I own the Hardcover and Genuine Leather editions. The contents are the same but the Genuine Leather edition is SmythSewn for greater durability. This Bible really has it all: great print size; book introductions; 10,000 concise explanatory notes; cross references; concordance; maps; Synopsis of Bible Doctrine and helpful articles. The NASB, while not as easy to read as some translations, is a word for word accurate translation. Ryrie's annotations come from a dispensational point of view and are consistent in their interpretation throughout the Bible. Rather than bog you down with lengthy discussion and multiple quotations from scholars from then and now, the annotations are succinct and focus on what the scriptures themselves have to say. This makes a huge difference when you want to find information that gets to the point quickly. This is the only Bible I am aware of that has such a detailed and helpful Synopsis of Bible Doctrine. Overall, highly recommended and very useful!

This is the best overall study bible I have used. The type is very readable, the notes don't overwhelm you but are there where they're needed. Only advice I would give is to get the genuine leather version if you can afford it.

This is a study Bible ideal for anyone who is looking for a most acurat verion, and most indepth explanations of the Bible. This contains many maps and charts making this Bible unique.

I received a Ryrie Study Bible about 5 years ago or so, and I have not found too many other Bibles with such an expansive variety of study helps, definitions, references, and to-the-point information. I personally like the Specific Topics that are focused on in the reference section in the back. The Miracles of Jesus, The Parables of Jesus, The Ministry of Jesus, The Topical Map of the Holy of Holies...and SO MUCH MORE! I guarantee you will not be disappointed if you pick up one of these today!
