Ruth & Boaz

The thoroughness, insight and clarity with which Terri Fivash deals with her subjects is simply outstanding. "Joseph", "Ruth & Boaz", and now her latest book, "Dahveed", all are so compelling and informative that it's difficult to tear one's self away from reading.

Ter

Ruth & Boaz is terrific! Terri has a rich knowledge of Biblical history. She has a master's degree in history from a well respected Christian University. Terri's Bibical knowledge, as well as her imagination, enables her to develop the story of Ruth and Boaz in a way that you have never heard before. The story boasts a cast of more than 70 characters that will tug at your heart. This is one of my favorites.

WOW!

Terri Fivash is an amazing author! I couldn't put either book down until I finished them! I wish they were on audio cd's. I can not WAIT until her David books come out!!! A must have for the library!!!

Fivash strikes literary gold again with Ruth and Boaz

Fivash's second book, Ruth & Boaz, is just as gripping as her first. And for those of you who've read Joseph, you'll understand when I say Ruth too, will be impossible to put down until the very end. Where Joseph was a story of one man's struggle to find himself and God, Ruth, as is obvious from the title, is centered around the love story between Ruth and Boaz and is quite a different book entirely. But Fivash's quick wit and charm are still aptly present throughout and God's grace and wisdom in the lives of His followers is wonderfully evident without being preachy. The hours spent by Fivash meticulously researching to get the historical details correct is also obvious. The only problem with Ruth & Boaz is that it will leave you even more impatient for Fivash's next book!

If you enjoyed "Joseph" You'll want to read this one too!

Terri Fivash has done it again! Many of my freinds said they just couldn't put it down. I so enjoyed getting a look into the heart and mind of the characters that before now I could only get to know through the bible. These bible folks come alive as you journey through the lives of the many characters in the book. I had to refer back to the list of names in the front of the book from time to time to be sure I knew who we were talking about. The way in which Terri intertwines the lives of the people in the book was very interesting and enjoyable reading. Not a cliff hanger but has a happy ending that leaves you wanting more. The story did bring me to tears on more than one occasion.
