Ruinsong

This book is gripping not in an action packed way but the way relationships filled with tension put you on the edge of your seat. It explored political powers and changes in a way that isn’t confusing even though coming into the book you have no idea the way things are set up obviously. The relationships between these people are really well written and feel genuine. All the characters feel really well thought out and I love the magic system they have created. The only thing that felt a little lacking was the ending?? I felt a little unsatisfied by it, I understand why they ended it like they did but it wasn’t exactly what I was expecting/wanted for the characters. I do think it’s well worth the read and I would highly recommend.
