A film-tie in the RUGRATS series, in which the Rugrats search through the baby presents looking for Tommy's new sister. Then the babies go with Tommy to the hospital to meet his new sister, only to discover the baby is a boy.
This book was excellent because it featured my favorite characters, the Rugrats! I decided to read this book when I found out that it was also featuring a new character, Dil Pickles,(Tommy Pickles little brother). If I had to rate this book 1-10 I would rate it 10 because this book is such an adventurous, thrilling and animated novel.
EXCELENT!!!

The Rugrats Movie:A Novel for the Ages

This is one of the best novelizations I've ever read. Special congrats to Mark and Cathy East Dubowski. The book, which is adapted from the movie (word-for-word, even!) tells of the Rugrats gang introducing a new Pickle:Dylan Prescott ("Dil") Pickles, Tommy's baby brother, whom the Rugrats get fed up with. Then, while playing with Tommy and Dil's father's new invention, "the Reptar Wagon", the babies end up lost in a forest full of monkeys, who have escaped from a circus train. Can the Rugrats cooperate with Dil and get home safely? Find out yourself and get the book! Comes with 16 pages of full-color illustrations from the movie.
